10 ways to survive winter!

Winter is a time period of hibernation and introspection. This equates to all areas of the self - Mind, Body & Spirit. What steps can you take to maximize your winter? This list will deliver increased abundance & prosperity during your hibernation.


  1. Massage is extremely healing and effective in moving blood flow (life force) throughout the body, especially in the winter. Lymph drainage is usually more important in the winter since most are less active.

  2. Eat lots of vegetables - Many veggies have a strong life force that will provide grounding as well as the life force needed to keep your inner fires burning. A few winter staples are beets, sweet potato, ginger, turmeric, turnips, spinach, carrots, radishes, fennel seed, cinnamon, and even garlic. Eat a rainbow!

  3. Just Move! Exercise is even harder in the winter. Make sure to move your body any way that you can to move your life force throughout. If  a gym is not in your budget, make movement a priority in your home. There are many youtube videos to assist an at-home exercise routine! 

  4. Hypnotherapy. Everyone updates their clothes, paint on the walls, and even apps on the phone. Have you updated yourself? Those are “hard to reach areas”. Think about all of the people you have talked to, learned from, and even commercials that influence you under the surface everyday. You need a reset and update. Without an update, you get the same results. There is not enough room to welcome abundance & prosperity if you are running the old program(s). You ran so much during the spring & summer.   5. Purge. There are many ways to purge during the winter months. Think Mind, Body, & Spirit…  How can you declutter your surroundings? Need a detox? How can you remove unwanted thoughts/habits?

  7. Sage! When was the last time that you used sage to purify the energy in the house? Sage removes negative energy and harmful bacteria!

  8. Read. Put down your phone for a few and actually read. The cell phone light challenges your circadian rhythms. Reading at night before bed will help you to slow down preparing for sounder sleep.

  9. Connect! Connect with who truly knows you, loves you, and appreciates you for who you are & not what you can do for them. Winter is also about sitting by a fire with loved ones.
